In a preview of the issue on Vogue's website, designer Marc Jacobs gushes about the star, saying: "The word diva is used for so many female performers, and it often means they have reputations for being difficult, but she exudes charm and a lovable quality."
Wearing a clinging black panelled dress, the star stands in one shot with her back to the camera, appearing to wear no underwear in the completely see-through gown.

Of course, while the rest of us would dread a photo with our hair this soaking - Beyonce pulls it off perfectly.
Elsewhere she's seen in a sheer pink gown with flower embellishments alongside the words: 'Just B - Beyonce and the art of global domination'.

It is the third time the Single Ladies superstar has appeared on the cover of Vogue US.
She made her Vogue debut in 2009's 'shape' issue, captioned: "Real women have curves - Beyonce at her best", and the issue was slammed as racist and sexest.

The following year she was nominated for 10 Grammys - the most Grammy nominations in a single year by a female artist.
She covered the US cover of Vogue's Power issue in March 2013, opening up for the first time about her daughter Blue Ivy.
According to MTV, the 33-year-old is the third black female to appear solo on the September cover, behind Naomi Campbell and Halle Berry.
The issue is expected to be officially released on Friday.
